Song in ending credits
« on: May 11, 2005, 09:11:05 PM »

I'm from Israel and so I was very surprised to hear an Israeli song in Hebrew at the ending credits.
I just wanted to know how you stumbled upon this song and decided to use it in the credits and why do you like it

Song in ending credits

Well, the version of the song used in 5ma credits is sung by the sister-in-law of our team leader, so that how we stumbled upon it. We just thought the song fitted the game atmosphere perfectly, although we didn't really understand the lyrics until recently.

Hi Nostradamus,

I'm Petr, my sister Olga wrote the game and my wife sang that song of Gali Atari. Where are you from (we live in Haifa) and how did you learned about a Czech game in Israel ? We recorded a few more songs and we think about releasing a CD.

I encourage you to release the CD. I was sad when I found out I couldn't listen to the song after I finished the game. It is beautiful.

Hi Petrv,

Do you know what the song is originally called in Hebrew? I am trying to find the song but I get nothing when I search for "Waking into a dream". Thanks! It is a very nice song and your wife has a nice voice.

For anyone who is interested, I have found the lyrics both English and Hebrew of the song.

There is also another version by a singer called Ninet Tayeb (the original is by Gali Atari):

In my opinion the version in 5MA is better than both of them. Smiley

Hi ...

I can see you have found the right answer alone Smiley

BTW Meirav - my wife that sings the cover version in the game has a new website (and a Facebook page as well):
